TOPIC: Quality and language

Quality and language 19 years 1 month ago #20994

After my comments nearly a year ago, I reiterate the need in quality management systems relating to company performance. In my last comment, no constructive agreement or critisism was received.
My point was that a quality management system such as the ISO 9000 family relating to company inhouse management, states the need that a person should be qualified to complete the work required of them. My point is that this means if they use English, they should be qualified to do so. Even in English speaking lands, this is a requirement in the case of native English speakers.
I still do not understand why is it then a matter of interpretation when the case relates to non-english speaking employees that work with the English language?
If this comment is answered constructively and not like the last with racist remarks or claims that I am trying to advertise (I suppose because they lacked any other constructive comment), I would be pleased to discuss this further with factual comments, paragraphs and statements from the relevent standards.
This is an interesting point that is purposely being neglected.
Rob Phipps.
